Unlocking Leadership Potential

Updated: Jan 31

"Employees don't quit companies, they quit their bosses."

If you lead a team, then you've probably heard this phrase. Chances are you've probably had some terrible bosses along the way. Today's emerging workforce seeks deeper meaning from their careers. They want to feel like they're making a difference in the world. For many workers, compensation is not the most important factor in choosing a job. This evolving fundamental requirement in career choice means that employees want to follow a leader that has clear purpose, values, and vision. When leaders aren't effective at sharing vision, then the team loses its sense of purpose.

Building a clear vision starts with the leader's personal core values and purpose. When people see someone truly living in their purpose and behaving in alignment with their core values, they gravitate toward that person. The same is true with companies; clear vision and values builds a positive culture.
